Let's Lighten Tings Up

Current politics seem to be making us all a little crazy.

How about taking a deep breath. It is Friday. Here are a couple of lighter items to help you get through the weekend.

As I was lying in bed pondering the problems of the world,
I rapidly realized that I don't really give a rat's hiney. It's the tortoise life for me!
1. If walking is good for your health, the postman would be immortal.
2. A whale swims all day, only eats fish, drinks water, and is fat.
3. A rabbit runs and hops and only lives 15 years.
4. A tortoise doesn't run and does nothing, yet it lives for 450 years.
And you tell me to exercise?? I don't think so.
I'm retired. Go around me.

Great post. We all need to step back and take a deep breath and just relax. I don't worry about what is going on in this world anyway. I just prep because I know things are going to happen and it's not going to be pretty. but I just do it like it is something I do all the time anyway. I have the Lord and the Bible and they will protect me. Pray all the time for this country and that things will get better, but we all know that God is in charge and everything is going to be in his control so therefore, have fun, hit the food sales and just sit back and relax.

JOKE!

There was an elderly gentleman lying on a nudist beach and to maintain his modesty and keep something from getting a sunburn, he placed a straw hat over his privates. A woman was walking by and thought she would embarass the gentleman. She said "A gentleman would lift his hat!" To which the gentleman responded, "If you weren't so ugly, It would lift itself!"

that is to funny. Everyone have a great weekend. I know I will. No rain now for 3 or 4 days and no rain in the forcast for a few more. cooler weather, the collards are in and now to just sit back and relax. need to catch up on some reading before I get into that front bedroom to paint. (badly needed).
