My Politics

I have figguered it out at last. This is how many people see politics and their position in the mix. AND they know they are right

They consider themselves middle of the road and so is everyone else who agrees with them. .
Anyone who dissagrees with them and wants to 'help' the poor downtroden a little more than they are liberals.
Anyone who dissagrees with them and wants to 'help' the poor downtroden a little less than they are conservative.
Anyone who dissagrees with them more than a little are radicals and should be run out of the country, reguardless of the constitution.

I'm being sarcastic but maybe not as much as I thought when I started writing this.

I must agree except for the last point where you left the word DANGEROUS out when describing radicals.

This observation runs true in most aspects of life. Everyone that makes more money than you is one of the "wicked rich" and everyone that makes less than you is either sponging off the system or after everything you have.

I have been getting constant e-mails from one of the on-line dating sites of late. I have no interest in promoting my social life at this point but I do enjoy reading the profiles and expectations.

It seems that all the 2 million women on the site, no matter what their age or height, consider themselves "about average" weight.

The vast majority of them are politically "middle of the road", but they could not tell you the name of their congressional reps if their lives depended on it.

While they all gripe because all the men want a younger woman, all the women want a man 10 years their junior and never more than 3 years older than the fake age they gave.

They are all "laid back and easy to get along with", even though 95% are middle aged divorcees with a wicked look in their eye.

And they all like long walks, fishing, sitting in the back yard and other forms of free entertainment.

Ain't life a grand adventure!

I find that most of the people I work with are brain washed with sports…They can tell you everything about sports, but if you ask them who their mayor of governor is, they have no idea. I think lots of people have their priorities messed up, and while they have their heads stuck in the ground, we loosing most of rights…

I agree with with ZAGran. And it is a known fact that in politics one will lie and the other will swear to it. these are the qualifications to be president, senitor or whatever: You must know how to lie, cheat and steal. If you don't have these qualifications you cannot be in politiics.
