Buggyout I'm with you on this. The choices are very bleak. I am really wondering now what to do as ryan is not an answer and this will put us deeper under. There is no turning this thing back by either party. they are both crooked. Obama and Romney. I'm not so sure now that I even want to vote. Just don't know what to do now. Very confused on this.

No, Romney may not be the answer, but his being elected will give us a bit of breathing room. There will be no breathing room should Obama be re-elected. We will quickly devolve into a socialist society, maybe worse... a society that have never been successful anywhere its ever been tried. The rich will weather the storm regardless of how it turns out. Its us that will be ground beneath the boot of a tyranny if Obama stays. You better think really hard, Applejack. Vote.

Applejack, don't get bogged down with the socialist media. They would like nothing better than to discourage conservatives to the point they won't even bother going to the polls because they have swallowed the marxist bait and think all is lost anyway and their vote won't matter. Its more of us than it is of them. Remember that.
The problem is the Libs are winning the political game...even when you look at the results of the last election, red overwhelmed blue everywhere except the large metropolitan centers (I'm using Missouri as an example, but I saw it all over the election map). Unless we can change the current electoral system where a couple of counties (see Hellinois) can dictate the outcome of an entire states worth of Electoral votes, we will never have a true government "of the people, by the people". We need to push for Electoral votes to be split by Congressional District, let's get the vote local again.

I agree with this concept. Then throw in two more electoral votes per state in a way each state sees fit. Most likely majority gets the 2 additional. One other thing this would do is make the candidates actually campaign in each state instead of just using the "safe" states for a checkbook to try to win the "swing" states.

Paradoxical Quote of The Day From Ben Stein:
"Fathom the hypocrisy of a government that requires every citizen to prove they are insured... but not everyone must prove they are a citizen."
Now add this, "Many of those who refuse, or are unable, to prove they are citizens will receive free insurance paid for by those who are forced to buy insurance because they are citizens."
"One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors." Plato

That Government is best which governs the least, because its people discipline themselves.

    — Thomas Jefferson

You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich. You cannot lift the wage earner by pulling down the wage payer.

    — Abraham Lincoln

And the people who make these laws are kept in power by those who don't have to prove they are a citizen to vote.

How sick this country has become. It's distcusting to say the least. If anyone knows of a way to fire the whole lot of them, I would like to be one of the first to tell the lot of them that they are fired. I look at the kids growing up today and think these kids with they're pants around there knees instead of there waist and the drugs they are using and lousy educatiion they are getting will be our next adults running our country. kinda scarrey to think of the next generation running this country.
