Jezcruzen: first, enjoy your boys; how many and how old? Second, I believe the threat of Communism died with the system itself at the end of the cold war (about 1991). There are some few places left with Communist systems, such as China and Viet-nam, which are moving very fast trying to emulate our system. There are also so other hardliners left (Cuba, North Korea, Myanmar) which will soon change and make progress or will die, because the system just doesn't work, as proven in the USSR experiment. There are 'communist' governments which come and go (like recently in Spain and Italy or currently France) and, at the end, it all stays the same. There is no way that anybody would mess with any of the amendments that make up the bill of rights. We, in the USA, have differences about how to do things, but there is no doubt that the vast majority of Americans, all 300 million of us, would support and defend - to the end - the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Of course, you will always find people who are against the 2nd amendment (the right to bear arms) and some are against the 14th amendment (the right of black people to vote); in any population or society you will always find dissenting voices (or weirdos) but that does not mean they will win. Again, the differences among us relate to the 'how' and not, not ever, the 'what'.

My sons are grown. I am happy that they all have gainful employment considering our economic circumstances nationally. They are also all bachelors. Waiting for grandkids is getting a bit long in the tooth!

Makerofgirls, I hope things turn out the way you believe they will... for all our sakes. In the meantime, keep and open mind. Ask questions. Do a bit of research. Follow the money, and always look to see who benefits.
