    Doc,
The nature of the thread is post shtf. So keeping to the idea, a "wet washcloth" becomes an excersize in logistics and sanitation control.

How much access to water do you have to wash this clothe, how much bleach did you stockpile? (not bringing up shelflife of liquid chlorine.....) naturally you have cases of hand sanitizer and of course boxes of batteries for your "orifices" 'pick.

    So, newspaper....................

I imagine most haven't considered a wet washcloth and some hand sanitizer after washing the washcloth in some bleach water. Saving the feces for fuel.

Other than that a battery powered "water pick" is a handy think for cleaning ALL body orifices.
You sound like what we called a flower child back in the day.

OK, you guys have me laughing. so remember the good old days before they came out with disposable diapers. It is called a diaper pail and bleach. Use washclothes and then put in a pail with bleach and as you get up a load you can wash them for reuse.

Why must some people complicate wiping their rear? Applejack is right, a simple pail with bleach is suficient to clean your rags. If you run out of bleach just wash them out real good, dry them in the sun and drive on.

In the Army we used a "Drive On Rag" it kept us plenty clean. Keep It Simple Stupid, (KISS system).

A friend who works for a Botanical Garden looked up the two bushes I suggested. They only grow in Africa. Not much chance of getting one here. Sorry, they won't help.

I remember the diaper pail. The more things change the more they stay the same. Aaahhh the good old days.
The only place success comes before work is in the dictionary.
