    Default corn meal


    I have a 5 gal. bucket of corn meal that has been in mylar bags and sealed with oxygen obsorbers now for about 2 years. I am wondering if I should go ahead and start using it or leave it sense it is properly stored. does anyone have any idea how long it will keep this way? It was bought on a closeout sale 2 years ago and had very good dates on them, but might be nearing the experation dates now.

    Properly stored cornmeal can last aprox 5 year.

    I put up 3 five gallon buckets before Y2K, I used the last of it in 2007 or 2008 cant remember sorry. My point is, it lasted me at least 7 years. Never had any issues with it.
