This is so good and while we don't want the animals to become depended on us. why are we giving food stamps and free meals to the greedy people who won't work when they are perfectly capable of working? they have gotten so depended on the food stamp program it's not funny anymore. Has anyone ever walked through a store and watched what they buy? they eat better then we do who work for a living. What's wrong with that picture? they need to curtail what they can buy with these food stamps. the market my husband's cousin owns, the sell crabs 26.95 a dozen. due to the fact that the price is the same rather they are steamed or live is the reason they can be baught on food stamps. Now the way I see it, if they can afford a dozen crabs on food stamps, they don't need food stamps and I asume they are living on drug money. go figure.

The sad part is that people who really need the help can not get it because all of the useless
parasites are using up all the funds

I agree, the ones that really need the help are the ones that fall through the cracks just because they might own a small life insurance policy. I had an aunt that I used to send money to her to help her out because she couldn't get food stamps because she had a 10,000 life insurance policy and she owned her home which was in very bad shape. she would have had to cash in her life insurance which would have left her with no burial money to be burried with and homeless because she would have had to sell her house as well for other types of things that she really needed. My uncle had passed several years before her. and they married late in life so no children to help out. I really think she gave up and did nothing after a while, she was in her 70's when she passed, but when she could barily see anymore she had to give up driving and that did something to her as it took her independance away and she was used to going around to help others.

I don't know how old this chart is, and it doesn't really mater. I found out I was rich under the Clinton administration. Do you remember how he defined a millionaire? - If you make 100,000 a year and multiply that by 10 it is a million, so you are a millionaire. SCARY how easy it is to demonize the working class.

Been there myself, my wife and I applied for fuel assistance a couple of years ago. I'm disabled and get SSDI which isn't much and my wife works like a dog so we can try to make ends meet. Well when fuel oil was around $3.90 a gallon we knew we were going to need help to get thru the winter. She filled out all the applications and brought our tax returns, the whole nine yards. After 4 hours of paperwork and interviews we were told that we qualified, but. Here's the kicker we were told in order to get the assistance we would have to drop our health insurance, it was considered a luxury we could do without.

these things are not luxurys, these are things we can't live without if something really bad happens. My husband is disabled also and if we didn't have health insurance, we would for sure be in the poor house. the government is just plain crazy. Hope you were able to figure out another way. Oil heat is very expensive these days. You really need your health ins. but the government wants full control over you. So they can decide if you live or die. Playing God is what the government is now trying to do. What's next?

I was born in Canada, but have lived in the states most of my life. I love the United States and would do anything for it…But with the administration we now in the white house, Canada is starting to look good again. I do not have any relatives in this county and they are telling me , it’s time to move back home.
