By now everyone has heard about the nut that shot up a bunch of folks in a theater in Co. Our world is full of SOFT targets. Church, Mall, Grocery store. How can any of us not excercise our right to go armed???? I don't

Thats the difference in reaction from us and the sheeple liberals. We see this and think "wow they should have shot back."
I promise the civil rights hating libs will say "outlaw guns." due to this.

It just re-enforces what I already believe - there simply is no place that is safe anymore.

The shooter was just a kid - 24 years old. James Holmes is his name. I found myself hoping his name would be "Achmed". Seems like it would have been simpler that way. Now? Another crazy white guy armed and out of control. The renewed calls for gun control or outright prohibition have probably already begun. *sigh*

It may not be as simple as just another crazy guy. I heard the reporters saying that he was "in this country legally"
What does that mean? Is he from somewhere else? I have had to call for help with my computer and the service center in pakistan told me the guy's name was Tommy. When I asked him what his real name was it sounded like he was clearing his throat for a full minute. So his name may not tell the story of who he is. (By the way, "Tommy" was awesome and helped me fix my computer. I only offered this anecdote to say that names don't mean much)

But still, There are so many college age kids out there who hate this country, especially kids that were born with money. It is amazing to hear them run down our country, talk about burning flags, whatever, and they don't even realize that just by being allowed to walk around shooting off their mouths they are enjoying some of the freedoms that make this country great!

I will reserve judgement on this guy till I see what his malfunction is. Is this a political thing? is he an eco-terrorist? Is he just off his meds? Was his girl in the theater with another dude? another chick? There is a story that has yet to come out.

We have to wait and get ALL of the facts. No rush to judgement. The first report I heard said he was wearing body armor like the guys in the L.A. bank robbery, and loaded for bear. I did not see that reported anywhere else. I think the report I saw said he was apprehended with a rifle, hand gun, and one other weapon. He threw some kind of gas into the theater, and started shooting at the people going for the exits.

It is a horrible tragedy, and Yes, the gun haters will be on this like a duck on a June bug. Where can you go that is safe? Your own house, I guess.

Meh! Enjoy your 15 minutes of fame, Dumbass. I can't tell you the last movie I watched in the theater. If I had been there, he would have shot a whole lot less people and I would have saved the state some money.

If a legally armed citizen had been there, many lives could have been saved. Assuming of course, that the citizen could hit what they were aiming at. The guy was wearing a bullet resistant vest. So it would have to be appendage shots or a head shot. The anti gun crowd has already gotten onto the story full steam. Remember Obama and his entire administration are rabidly anti-gun. They have been trying to get a UN treaty signed that guts our constitution. The man is evil, he must not be re-elected.
