    Default zombie bumber stickers

I have been seeing more and more cars with zombie bumber stickers on them that say support the zombies and things like this. has anyone elso seen these and do they mean anything? just wondering if these might be some of the ones we need to be watching in case of trouble. I have seen at least 5 or 6 cars with these bumper stickers just in one day.

Applejack, I think these are just usually young people with a sense of humor and more money than sense. My daughters (24 & 17) think the Zombie thing is extremely funny. Can't say I don't think it's extremely funny either. Also been seeing the Zombie Response Team stickers on vehicles. Don't really worry about them either.

Thanks for the info dalewick. Just wasn't sure what to think of it since I am always hearing that we need to beware of the zombies that they will try to rob and take anything you have because they don't know how to fend for themselves.

I think this is typical behaviour. The idea of prepping has been made seem so "fringe" that one side effect is folks are taking it as a joke. I saw at walmart a set of shooting targets with the air-rifles. they were zombies.
But instead of worrying about it, I figure that at least they are discussing the idea of prepping.

Because we respond to natural disasters, my coworkers talk about prepping alot, even though most of them don't actually do anything. They are more likely to joke about it and take it lightly. I have quit trying to have a normal conversation with them about it. A couple of them know I am interested in prepping, and have seen my water barrels behind the house, but I don't let on to them just how much my wife and I have done. The way I look at it, is these guys aren't willing to do any prepping, and if they know I do, then they will come hungry and desperate after things go sideways.

My family use Zombies as code for any emergency. That way can discuss our need for things in public without attracting prepper attention. Like, "Hey Gran, that radio would be great for when the Zombies attack." "Camping" is another term we use. Or "large family gathering" "Church supper" works well out of town, if you use it in town, locals will ask when and where. But usually it's Zombies, which everyone laughs off.

A lot of it has to do with shows like " The walking dead " that are real popular , It is just all in fun and not to be taken too seriously ( even Hornady has the Zombie-max ammo )

It may be a carry over from the video games. So many of them are shooting galleries where you are shooting Zombies for points. I wouldn't worry about it to much.

Zombies are in every part of the media: TV, Film, books, games. It has become "the in thing", just another popular thing that a whole lot of people follow! If I could roll my eyes hard enough and not have them get stuck in my head....I would.

I just keep prepping. Fads come and go, and most of this stuff is due to the popularity of all the goth stuff. Vampires are sweaty shirtless teenage hunks now. Werewolves are studdly native americans that drive old pickups and are late to school.
Now everyone wants in on "Zombies." Whatever. Give it a while to blow over. And just keep prepping.

Hey wait a second..... don't be slamming on my sparkly-shirtless VAMPIRES! I have all the POSTERS in my mom's basement.
