    Default free books

I have several sites that have free ebooks, and among them are historical papers by our founding fathers.

www.manybooks.net is one. The best one (imo) is www.gutenberg.org

There are classic books like edgar rice burroughs, (Tarzan and the ones that the recent movie John Carter was based on), and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (Sherlock Holmes)
but there are also state of the union addresses and other writings by our commanders in chiefs, and other founding fathers.

You can either just read online, or download the files for future use. I intend to save a bunch of these on a hard drive to be a resource for the future.

Thanks Chef. I think sometimes I "over-share" but I love these sites. I will look tomorrow and find the others. Some are scams that will try to sell you ebooks, but say they are free. But I have gone through them, and have about 5 or 6 that are legit.
I re-read all the original Sherlock Holmes books before I watched the recent movies. I am reading now "A Princess of Mars" which is the book the movie "John Carter" was based on.
