He was buried within 5 hours of his death at the urgency of his surviving family. Why the hurry?

So I'm watching the Andy Griffith show on Netflix and I realized something. The people portrayed in the show lived simple, wholesome lives. These are some of the things they did:

Ate at home - Most everybody did it, around a family table. The single men, ate easy canned foods on a small electric burner.
Ate mostly fresh foods - They did have canned foods, mostly, cooking was done out of their larders with fresh ingredients.
The portion sizes were huge - ever time they showed someone eating, the portions were huge.
They fished for fun - Then ate their fish.
They did not eat fast food - besides the soda fountain, no fast foods.
They spent money seldom - A dime for an ice cream soda.
They hung out in the shade or on a porch - They talked, played games. They gathered in town and did these things.
They shopped in town - All the stores were small businesses, privately owned.
They were polite - They made it a priority to use manners, look themselves in the eye, and communicate simply.
They walked a lot - Vehicles were used, but the preferred method of transport was walking!
They didn't watch a whole lot of TV - TV viewing was a once or twice a week thing, the whole family sat together and watched it.
The kids played outside - From dusk until they were hungry and it was getting dark.
They had two or three outfits and two or three pairs of shoes - They had everyday were, workwear and Sunday best.
The men worked - The women stayed home and took care of the place, kids, Etc.
The woman made desserts daily - There was always a pie cooling in someones widow.

These are just a few. This was how I was raised. I want to get back to this life.

We need to get back to values, but god and the 10 commandments back in the schools, get rid of some of this technology get back to the simpler things of yesteryear. Nobody is held responsible for their actions any more. I to was raised like that…hell were not allowed to turn the TV on till the sun when down. We were outside playing or doing chores till then any way.

Yes... I especially enjoyed the image 'ol Andy projected stumping for passage of the unconstitutional "Obamacare". That was the REAL Andy. Not the made up one on TV. I can just hear little Ronnie Howard saying, "Gee, Pa. Why are you such a socialist?" Kinda warms a person's heart, don't it?

BTW, the people in Mt. Airy, N.C. hate his ass.
