Hi! We curently live just outside of Nashville. My husband and I, along with our 5 children, are in the process of trying to find land to begin building an Earthship. ( earthship.com) We want to live completely off the grid, and we like what the earthship style home offers. We are hoping to land in the Van Buren County area. Our family loves Fall Creek Falls and the beauty of the area. We joined the site in the hopes to find pointers and tips for us as we prepare to make some drastic changes in our life style and home life. Can't wait to dive in!

Im sorry I don't understand your response? Is that because the home we want to build is called an Earthship? We didnt name them

. They were designed in the 70's and have been fine tuned. they are completely off grid. They use solar energy. They use rainwater and filter out to greenhouses where food is grown. They are made out of recycled materials as well.
