I to have followed him for years. I love his no-nonsense approach toward enforcing the law. Make prison a miserable place so criminals don't want to go back there.The only place success comes before work is in the dictionary.

He is awesome. The bleeding hearts legislated him that he HAD to provide cable tv to prisoners. So he allowed....... cartoons and religous channels only.
He feeds his prisoners bologne sandwitches everyday, and they hate it. He also has the outdoor tent city prisons. I saw an interview where he spoke with one of the prisoners, and asked what the fellow thought about the conditions, and I quote, "I know I don't want to come back!" Isn't that the point of prison? We talk about rehabilitating, but we think you can only do it by bribing people to do good. You can also punish them for doing bad. It works! He does his job the way it should be done.
How many young people have had their lifestyle changed and did not end up in prison by living in a tent or working on a chain gang!
As any one can see the Federal government will n ot support AZ in its efforts so they will have to continue on their own. Many states will follow.
The Feds have their heads up in the clouds and do not know what reality is until it hits them on the head.

He makes them wear pink uniforms
When the whole Arizona bill came up a couple of years ago, he was on TV talking about his Posse and how the Feds were trying to not allow the militia to cover the border. I got so mad I called his office and told the offer that I spoke with, that I lived in Alabama but if they need help I'll be more than happy to come help and he said thank you but you have to live in the county. I know they thought "What a crazy Alabama Woman"
