SKS is a great low cost battle rifle! I've had several, currently none.

I learned that you are very lucky if you get one that is accurate, however, does it really matter? Ha ha! All of my SKS rifles were able to hit a man size target at 100m. What else do you need?

    How does your rifle shoot?

I have a couple of Mosin Nagants, one is from 1893 and the other we belive to be from the early 1920`s, Both shoot great, they shoot better then the SKS.

I was thinking about getting another stock an may-be a scope for the 1920`s Mosin Nagant...You get get 7.62x54 ammo very cheap if you know where to look.

The SKS is an excellent battle carbine. The prices have jumped dramatically. If I find any under $200.00 I would buy more.

I have has several Sks carbines and loved them all. In fact, I'd buy one now if I had the moolah. Mosin Nagants, I love. I have an M38 and I am always impressed by it. Short, handy, poweful and hits where I point it.
