I don't know if any of you have seen this yet but I really like the concept of it. I can see lots of possibilities with it. Check it out!

That is cool, but I'd have to see the inside when it's folded up - where do you put your "stuff"?

I have set up something extremely similar from the military. It rode on the back of a 5ton, and could be dropped anywhere. It also trippled in size and was huge. It was being used as a portable comms unit. I don't know if any of the guys on here with good military intel will know what this was and be able to find a pic, but these can actually make it to military surplus.
I know because I ran into one again being used by a local agency as a storage shed.
Hurricane Charlie dropped a tree dead center of it and it has been removed or I would post pics.

I would figure it would go into the back of a 1 1/2 ton pickup ... I would use this as a last ditch unit ... moving it from site to site in the event my bunker or cabin was over run. I would also have a portable power plant or solar and wind turbines for the electric ... its not perfect but nothing ever is that is why we are always improving and finding more info on how to improve things.

I also saw many of those ... as a power generator operator/mechanic/electronic specialist we had one as a mobile command post ... it was spacious and very nice inside. I would wonder if they have them at the government surplus auction sites.

I am sure they have had at some point. Like I said, a local agency had one they had screened at a base as surplus.

cool, but not portable enough for me. I've seen it before. Once in Outdoor Life they had a shelter than could fit on a small trailer and was on skids, had room for a bunk bed, table, cook stove and some storage. It was about 8ft long and 6 ft wide I think. That is more portable. It was a hunting shack.
