    Default 1980's

    And we actually survived!
Why tip toe through life only to arrive safely at death!

    Isaiah 41:13
For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand,
Saying to you, "Fear not, I will help you."

It's hard to believe we suvived those days. They were good times and no seat belts, no car seats for babies either, makes you wonder how we did get through those days with out all the injuries.

I remember ending up in a ball under the dash a couple of times, (while my Mom was driving) but other than a bump or two, no problems.

How about sleeping in the area above the back seat by the rear window? Cars were made of steel, not plastic, including dashboards. You were careful, and paid attention.

Of course we weren't talking on cell phones or texting either.

I use to lay down in the back window above the back seat of our 1970 impala and go to sleep as my mom was driving .
