proselytizing your god, your faith, your church, your religion as a means to fix the economy/state of things is not only silly and juvenile but incredibly irresponsible as well. this is supposed to be a survivalist forum, not a give up and let some superstitions save the day.

Boris, I don't believe that is what Applejack is stating. It's about faith, the belief in something unseen that is bigger than one's self. Faith can move mountains or help you survive where others die. Ask any POW or combat vet.

Hello boris, Applejack here. The state of this ecomomany is going fast and is only going to get worse. this country was born into a God fearing people and we had it good in years back. I am not telling anyone to stop prepping as I have been preppping for over 6 years now. What i am saying is if something happens and you are your loved ones get killed, at least you know you have Jesus Christ on your side and know that you or your loved ones will be in a better place if shtf and it gets out of control.. I know I will be in heaven which is a much better place than what we will be here going through if i die from obama care or if someone kills me I will be in a better place because I know I am saved.
how about you? If you know that you were going to die in the next 5 minutes, do you know for sure you will go to heaven? Hell is real and not place I would want to be tormented in for eternity. thank about it. It's more than prepping for hardtimes/ it's letting go and trusting God that you are making the right choices in your prepping and that you are still able to do it. think of poor people and people who have lost there jobs and can't afford to live from hand to hand on a daily baises. they can't afford to prep like a lot of people on this forum are able to do. And even on this forum some are much more able than others to do a whole lot more than others. So yes, I will keep God in my prepping because he can give and he can take it away that fast. i think I will stay on the side of my Lord. How about you. If you know your bible, you will know how everything will play out. there is a book on Revelation that will explain a whole lot to anyone willing to read it and use the bible to learn and study it. It is :
John Macarthur explains the book of revelation Because the time is near
You can get it on Amazon
I am prepping and will continue to prep, but I can also tell you December 21st will not happen, it's like Y2K and I will not go through the rapture because I trust in God to deliver me up from what is coming. I do however believe we are going to see weather that will take out a lot of people, famine and the collaspe of this country. China is our enenamy and our goverenment is selling us out to them. they own a lot of our debt. how long before they want they're money back, and we don't have it to pay them. So yes I will keep my faith in my God, as for church, that's not a building, we the people of faith in God ARE the church. and know our faith will not fix the sate of this economy, But my trust in him will keep all true believers going as they prepare for what is going to happen. The difference in you and me is I can do it without fear because I know what is going to happen.
I hope this gives you an understanding that without God you are alone in what you do.

The OP is referencing govmnt spending. Do you have an opinion ON THE OP?

I get the sense that you enjoy confrontation, if it doesn't come your way you create it.

    DON'T DO THIS AGAIN!

no, when someone brings up the failed state of our country including schools, healthcare, drugs, taxes, satan, the raising of our children etc., then states "not a whole lot we can do to fix it now. So anyone out there if you don't know Jesus Christ as your savior, I urge you to do so now because HE IS our only hope." i call bs. that's not about the kind of faith that drives one to succeed or persevere, that's about sitting back and hoping for some supernatural or divine miracle to fix things. that is why i contend that it is silly and counter productive to a survivalist forum.

what would i suggest, well in short the answer is to vote, work within your community to make local changes, keep working hard and do right by others, never give up! (of course this is a very generalized answer to many difficult situations)

"Applejack" has the right to state his faith. "My boy boris" has a right to state his faith or lack of also. But none of this gives anyone the right to attack the faith of another. Why is it we can post an opinion on how to fix the economy or an opinion on what is wrong with society and no one attacks the poster? But state an opinion on your own faith and you will be attacked most definately. IMHO one who attacks the faith of another is trying to convince themselves and no one else.

Boris, If you don't believe that this is the kind of faith that drives one to succeed or persevere, please check your history facts of this country's founding fathers and their personal tribulations during the revolutionary war. To many other examples for me to mention here.
