Back from my trip

Had a good time on my trip. I made the Stone and Brick oven and it turned out well. I started a thread with all the Pics in the Bush Craft section. O.W. met with me and he helped me set up camp, thanks O.W.

Here is a pic of us negotiating an obstacle (Wash out). We filled it with fire wood to get across.

I planned on staying Friday through Sunday and leaving Monday morning. Mother nature decided she was going to change my plans. I had to Bug Out of my location it is a flash flood prone area and I wasnt going to stick around.

I will post more threads. Here are a few things I did in the two days I was out.

Built a shelter using tarps.

Built a stone and mud oven.

Tested my water purifier (I failed the filter) the filter did not fail.

Used some of my emergency food supplies to see how easy/dificult it would be in a wilderness environment.

I wanted to build some debris shelters but ran out of time.

Had a good time and it was a learning experience. Looking forward to sharing my failures and Success.

It was a great trip, I hope to have many more. It's a great way to put to use what you learn on this forum. It's one thing to read about it but when you actually do it it is truly rewarding.

I will be planning another outing this summer. You are invited.

I want to plan one for a week from Friday to Friday, you can come for all or just part. I will post my plans and will send directions through a PM.
