No news

I just finished 48 hours without watching the news. I did get a weather report from th e weather radio. i think my blood pressure has dropped and i am less angry.

Did you go to another planet? I can see not watching, but we get bombarded with news at every turn. How did you avoid it?

Snake, let me try to help ....

First, practice deep breathing exercises. When stuff starts to bother us our muscles tense and our breathing becomes much shallower thus depriving our minds and bodies of oxygen .... it quickly becomes a cycle of physical deterioration.

Deep breathing requires effort, focus, concentration. When you're truly focused on a task, nothing else enters your mind.

Second .... realize that sh!t just doesn't really matter .... the show is all but over.

We may or may not have minor parts to play in these final scenes but its over. There isn't going to be any change for the better, there will be no return to "good ole days.

I'm ok with this, I have to be because there isn't anything to be done ....
