Deep breathing requires effort, focus, concentration. When you're truly focused on a task, nothing else enters your mind.
Second .... realize that sh!t just doesn't really matter .... the show is all but over.
We may or may not have minor parts to play in these final scenes but its over. There isn't going to be any change for the better, there will be no return to "good ole days.
