My Ivan (German Shepherd) sleeps with me in my room, so when I camp out and he's with me, he sleeps inside the tent (even if it would mean a cramped space for me). Love my dog.

With us in the tent,or the camper. His preferance was under the covers, kept our feet warm.

Ours sleeps with us because of bears, I would not want her tied to a tree when a black bear comes through the campsite.

Our dogs always sleep in the tent with us, they wouldn't have it any other way. If we tried to leave them outside they would just howl till we let them in. We'd have everyone in a mile radius outside our tent in the morning, nothing worse than a Redbone coonhound howling all night.

My Yellow Lab, Thunder, of 11 years (now in a better place) camped with me all the time. Every single nite he would be in my tent at bedtime. Every single morning when I awoke, he was laying somewhere in the camp site. I don't how he figured out the zipper thing, but he never once damaged any of my tents. He just did his thing. I miss that dog...
