Review: SHTF IWB holster

A few months ago, I ordered several CWP holsters. Most are OWB, as I prefer them based on my training and experience as a police officer. I do however like a real good inside waistband holster, SHTF Gear holster caught my eye. I purchased it for my largest handgun; a HK MK23.

Upon opening my package, I immediately noticed the high leather body shield. I knew this was going to be a great holster! The leather was 1/8 inch thick, it was perfect, not to floppy or stiff. The holster came with metal AND leather belt holders.

The holster itself is made from molded Kydex, pretty standard. A plus is it is stitched into the leather both front and back.

I am a big guy, I weigh over 300 LBS, so comfort is important to me. I have a little bit of a spare tire, even though, It slipped in easy on my belt.

It was comfortable, no part of the gun jammed up into my side.
As far as conceal-ability, it worked GREAT!

Conclusion:

For $60, I got a good quality holster, the company was fast to deliver and I have zero complaints. I love this holster! I give it a 5 out 5 Buggy stars! Thanks SHTF Gear!
