I was wandering around Gander Mountain last weekend (was shocked at the prices, they have got to be kidding) and saw a whole section of traps. Got me thinking that having a few of these handy if the SHTF might be a good idea. Can use them either for food gathering (racoon isn't to bad in a gravy with onions) or placed at choke points in the perimeter defense, people tend to scream when there foot is caught in a spring trap.
Can somebody tell me where to get traps at a reasonable price? Maybe online?

Trap prices are crazy expensive. Try Duke traps they are made in Korea and are 20-25% cheaper, but still of good quality. Box traps can be used in urban settings. If confronted you can claim you are only "relocating" the critter. The trick is to practice this skill before you need it. Good luck!
