Default Colt Special Combat Government! With a little work...

This is a good one guys! Just added her to the safe not long ago. A Colt Special Combat Government from Colt's Custom Shop with some accuracy work by Clark's in Princeton, LA. It is so tight that a bushing wrench has to be used to field strip her. For those that are interested..., but the wait time is about 1 year now: http://www.clarkcustomguns.com/1911serv.htm#accbar

The trigger is literally the best I have ever pulled in my 56 years and at my first outing with her she was punching groups at 1.5 inches at 7 yards. Over and over. It was Cordite Nirvana in the extreme!

Should the SHTF, this one will be with me!

    Enjoy!

A thing of beauty for certain .... personally, I won't have adjustable sights on a weapon intended for battle.

An acquaintance dropped his during a drill .... of course it landed on the Bomar.

The sights will eventually be replaced with some Trijicons or Mepros. But very good point indeed!
