The Guide Gear 10'x10' Teepee Tent.
    $99.99 + $4.99 S&H.

While I was trying to stand up the center pole the Grommett in the ceiling popped out. I had staked out the floor as per the directions and tryed to stand up the center pole. When it was apparent the pole would not stand up I restaked the floor a bit looser then tryed it again and that is when the ceiling grommett popped. I have come to the conclusion that the only way this tent may work is if you set it up on perfectly level ground, even though the area I had it in was as level as you are going to find anywhere you need to use a tent. If this had an adjustible pole I feel it woulbe a very good place to spend some time.
I sent it back asking for a refund to The Sportsmans Guide this afternoon, I will let you know how they handle it.

Looks like a crappy tent to me. A lot of unwanted space.

Back in the early eighties i bought some sparring gear from sportsman's guide. They sent the wrong item on the handwraps. They not only sent the right ones right away, but told me to keep the others. I was impressed. Good luck on the tent.

Default 5.11 Rush 72 Hour Backpack - Flat Dark Earth

Here's my newest EDC/BOB/GHB backpack. I commute about 100mi a day round-trip through the boonies, so it's nice to be a little prepared.
    Exterior:
Gerber Knife, similar to the LMF II but bears zero markings - was given to me from a military family member who recently returned from a tour of duty in iraq.
Safariland Rapid Lighting System - mounted to picatinny rail I bolted to the molle webbing
    Benchmade 5 Hook safety cutter.

Sportsmans Guide refunded the cost of the tent and the S&H. They are OK in my book.

I have been buying equipment from TSG for years and have never had a problem returning anything, their customer service is second to none. I joined the buyers club they have years ago and the money I save on purchases have paid for the membership fee usually on the first order.

Last piece of gear I got was a Remington 700 AAC in 308. Used a Weaver tactical base and Weaver 6 hole tactical rings to mount a Sun Optics LR4 scope 4 - 16X mil-dot. Rifle holds a great pattern and I happy with the scope so far.Attachment 4929Attachment 4930
