    Mir defeats Nogiera in the 2nd by TKO.....punches. Might have been a premature stoppage, IMHO.

    And in the main event, Rashad "Sugar" Evans defeats Forest Griffin in the 3rd with punches, ref stoppage TKO. Good fight...while Griffin is one of my favs (especially against the "showboat" Evans), Evans earned it.

    did you happen to catch the Urijah Faber fight? I saw it a couple of weeks ago I think.. I really like Faber... and especially his fight against Jens Pulver last summer I think it was that one went the whole 5! It was incredible. The most recent fight was against Mike Brown in November... I hadn't heard of him before and he handed Urijah his ass and made him wear it like a hat! It sucked because I like Faber so much... but it was a definite solid legal fair blow to the head that lead to his unseating. He is scheduled to fight again on 1-25-09 against Jens Pulver (again) and if you have never seen these guys fight you have to catch this!
