Go back inside. Load up one of the larger rifles of the appropriate caliber, and call the appropriate authorities, Police, DNR, in that order.
I bet that got your heart started faster than a cup of coffee.

I had two in the back yard Monday evening. We went out with flashlights and shined them until they went away.
Wisconsin has now restored three predator populations: black bear, grey wolf, timber wolf.
Now just what was the reason our grandparents killed them off? Oh yeah, I remember. THEY'RE PREDATORS!If it was man made it can be man re-made.

Boy that is some great meat on the hoof! Could use some bear stew. I haven't had any in years. Bear are very scarce in Florida. No season.
