Default I have posted about uses for Salt and Vinegar, how bout SUGAR?

    http://hubpages.com/hub/Uses-of-Sugar

Was fiddling around today, looking up stuff, and wondered what other uses there were for sugar.

If you know of any, please add. If you have tried any of these, let us know how it worked!

I have heard of using sugar on wounds as an antibacterial medium. Something about osmotic pressure. I have never tried it though.

I sliced my thumb open to the bone last year on a piece of glass. I kept it covered in a bandage packed in sugar. It healed very quickly and did not get infected. Honey can be used the same way.

To purchase? No. Make my own .... guestimate the amount of sugar relative to the injury .... say 1 cup, mix with betadine to a paste like consistency.

I found and saved a web page regarding sugardine for people but like so many others it's gone.

The lady in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lj5j1BsFD2c is using a product called "sore no more" to make her "sugardine" I no nothing about it but have come across numerous references to it ....

Sugar was the main thing my mother put on bad cuts that bled a lot this was 55 years ago It hurt like fire but you healed right up.And thinking about how much the cure hurt made you be a little more careful.
