    Excellent Thread.

When you are paddling near shore, try to stay away from trees, had snakes fall in more than once.

To the OP.. great post with some beautiful pictures. I would like to add that it would be prudent to bring a spare paddle per person. I did a one week trip on the St. John's river in Maine one May, started with 4 paddles between the two of us, finished with one intact one spliced together and one borrowed. Who would have thought it would snow the last week of May?

glad you liked it, and that is a good suggestion, about the paddles. So far, knock on wood, Ive never lost or broken one. I have how ever managed to lose three cell phones, a pistol and a fully loaded pack to the River demon murphy. LOL
