AMC Walking Dead series..

The MR and I are huge Zombie movie/show, fans.. I liked the new AMC series, the Walking Dead. Although, I thought it was a little too much "drama" at times, I look forward to watching it again.. although, I do not find it a likely scenario, we get a kick out of chatting, and discussing different situations. Anyone else like/dislike it?
I personally liked it, just for the zombie factor. A lot of it was kinda ridiculous, but, again, entertaining..

Um... ok, no takers? lol.. Just wondering, am I a little "odd", because Im on a survival forum, at 12 on a Saturday night, talking about zombies??? Man, times have changed! Kinda finally enjoy my life, these days, lame or not

I'm a Zombie fan as well and I like the show. My wife is not a Zombie fan but for some odd reason she loves it. I think it's the drama that gets her. It's the only show I'm looking forward to this summer and my wife has instructions to tape it when I'm away.

Thats great you watch it together! AMC has some great original series. I havent heard when it comes back, but I am certain due to the overwhelming response it had that it will be back.. So, Brother, where do you go when your "away"?

Since I was here then, too, guess I'm enjoying my lame life along with you. Like you, I think we are anything BUT lame!

I enjoy zombies but don't watch TV, so haven't seen the show.

You will have to check it out! It did come on late Sunday night, but not too sure if the popularity will knock it to a more prime time spot!

I love the show, was really happy to see a series instead of a movie for a change. I have a huge collection of zombie movies, from the original dawn of the dead to some made foe video low budget stuff. It is all very entertaining.

Season two starts October 31st. kinda annoys me to have to wait a year from the start of the last season. but what can you do.

and its not lame. LOL I have a huge Horror collection, from lon Chaney to mid ninety's. horror not slasher flicks. LOL and the largest part of the collection are zombie movies. I snagged the first season of the Walking Dead when it came out on DVD woooo hooo. so far Ive watched it like twenty times now LOL.

So Halloween it is! We too like any kind of slasher/horror/zombie movie..sometimes the cheesier the better! I think it does have the drama element that many people (ladies ?) may like.. Im a blood and guts kinda girl, so the nastier, the better!
I watched all, 6 (?) episodes over and over.. can always find good and bad points..I appreciate everyone opinions! Give us all something to chat about next fall!!!
The last movie I saw that actually had me a little disgusted was- The Human Centipede.. Talk about wacko??? That was one sick puppy!!
