hey i realy think it ought to be a family thing as for the gun thing you could have one person there to demonstrait gun safety and only they have the guns this way green horns can learn too.
have wooden guns for kids and show them how to safely handle a gun. yeah the gun and kids make me nerves. you could also have venders there to help with the cost of putting this thing on
each vender pay a small fee for setting up there. its just an idea.

We'd be interesting in coming to something like that. We pretty much take our kids everywhere with us, so no kids could be an issue. I understand your concerns, but imo kids shouldn't be running around getting into people's stuff, messing with equipment, or at a fire unsupervised by a parent - just common sense stuff. I know not everyone has that, but they're gonna be a liability with or without kids, aren't they?

I'd be willing to come and bring a couple of like minded friends.

I like the idea of bring your own food and feed yourself since this a survival forum. just my 2 cents.

I also agree that if you can move it to October that would be a lot better because Labor Day weekend is still middle summer heat here in Mid TN.

Great idea ! And thats my birthday weekend !,,,,, as far as the firearm vs family problem,,,Talk to your local gun club , and NRA, they will know about regs and insurance,make Whole campsite (SAFE PLACE)and separate range for an (on site range) , or make open trips to an (off site range) . Your local gun club would love that anyway , and bring locals $ just a thought...
