What did you do TODAY to prepare?

May 11th. Mowed the grass. I also worked on the wifes hosta bed. Sometimes survival is keeping your wife happy.

I saw that someone posted they were buying candles, my wife and I look for candles at the local ARC thrift store. They put candles in bags of 20-30 and sell them for a buck. We have put away a lot of candles that way. Bought a 20' 3/8' chain for 5 bucks. It's a good place to find things in good shape at low cost.

took the plunge and finishing on buying a truck. needed a vehicle that was able to transport the family and carry necessary gear/supplies in a SHTF situation.

Had a hose warming cookout at our place. Went great but no prepping done. U have 2 take off once in a while.

I agree Zeke. I broke a budget rule last week and took my son to see the movie "Avengers."
I have been working to get debt free for so long, I didnt want to miss some time out just us boys, not serious, just having fun
