I like to keep a couple of the mesh laundry bags in my bob. They take up next to no space and are almost weightless. They are great for forage bags and can be lashed to a forked stick to use as a net to catch fish.

I also keep a couple pairs of knee high pantyhose. Helps to keep from getting blisters, added warmth in cold weather situatioms, can be used for lashing, pre filter for water, or for making a small minnow net. As with the laumdry bags they take up almost no space.

A pair of fencing pliers, linemans pliers and a 6 in 1 screwdriver. Multitools are nice but the tools seem a bit brittle for heavy work. A magnetic tray as used by mechanics and maintenance personel. The size of a normal bowl or so and made of metal and it has magnets on the bottom. Ine the woods and have to work on your firearm or anything else metal just put the loose parts in there and the magnets hold them in place whick lessens the odds of little parts being dropped in the leaves. Plus the bowl is a bowl so you can pop the magnet of and use the bowl then put the magnet back on.

I always carry Super Glue. I can be used to repair tears in gear or clothing. If need be it can be used to close a wound that would require stitches.
