I just vomited. Did you see this reply:

"Trust me on this, I was a fundamentalist gun owner for several years. Believe me when I say that in the gun culture, children are considered to be a major problem that needs to be dealt with. From the gunnies' perspective, if it wasn't for children then they wouldn't have to worry about things like locked gun cabinets and trigger locks and all of these things that they perceive to be "assaults on their liberty." That's why when incidents like Columbine happen, gun clubs across the country get together and celebrate (very discreetly, of course) because there are that many less children in the world to meddle with their gun practices. I've seen it more times than I'd like to admit. I got out of the gun cult 3 years ago and would encourage others to do the same. -Anonymous Reader"

It seems these guys (adequacy.org) do not like the country at all, I do not know why they even stay they can easily live free of those evil weapons in some other country. I know I would love to donate to a good cause like to ship all the idiots like that to another continent preferably.

I'll donate to that cause as long as the ship is made out of Alka Seltzer.

    Second Amendment - Bearing Arms

    Amendment Text | Annotations

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

There are 2 reasons why this is overlooked by much of the government, they interpret that the people's right is due to being consolidated into a Militia and a "free State" is in their minds an outdated concept since the government keeps giving their handouts to the states which denotes a non-independent state.

Until the people of this country finally get fed up enough; if they don't wait too long, and make their state governments stop taking the government dole and stand on their state's own two feet, the government will still see no reason to accept the text of the Constitution or any Amendment. I guess they laziness of the people of this country finally got what they deserved after the last 50 years of letting the government chop little by little every inch of independence and self respect out of the individual and the state.

While I know most people will not see it the way I do but if you look into the government's intervention into segregation in the schools and neighborhoods of the 50s as the 1st true step (whether positive or negative) of the government taking the state self governing powers away.

Some people mind find me racist for feeling this but in my community many blacks and whites both see this as the starting point of the government taking control and dictating terms to us "We The People"

Yup, it was a difficult read!

Kinda made me want to see that guy in a post SHTF scenario out here and would like to see how he thinks after I say a few things. The author is just another example of those on the long list who are a simple waste of skin.
    Being unprepared is giving up!
