    elec. melting pots(lee, Lyman, RCBS) would not get hot enought to melt alum. I worked with molten alum. in the past and we had to melt it in a gas fired furnace to get the job done proper. Plus alot of bullet molds are made of machined alum. No point pouring red hot alum. into a alum mold.

    Sigh.... bunch of dream killers, and there I was getten ready to make ammo stock this weekend. Now I have to focus on making construction material instead. (In case someone wants a beer-can house! at least that has been done succesfully!)
