My local hardware store here in Mt Gilead NC has some pickel barrells with screw on lids . They were used to ship in pickles from india . Anyway they are selling them for $16.95 each and I love them . I have bought 2 and ordered 6 more . He only gets about 15 a week .

I washed them out really well and put 250 pounds of dog food in each one and put in o2 absorbers . after 6 months took it out and did not notice any pickle smell and the dogs eat it fine . I try to keep 2 with dog rood and 2 with chicken feed and 2 with corn .
As for having them later on the place is called Browns Hardware and they are trying to keep them in stock all the time . I bought an 100# bag of pintoes there last weekend
