I'm near Portland, Oregon but it's obviously way too crowded here so I looking for a place to buy a little further south in more rural areas probably around Corvallis or Salem. Unfortunately I'm old and have inflammatory arthritis (similar to rheumatoid arthritis) so I have to stay within reach of a rheumatologist, hospitals, etc., and hope some vestige of our health care system remains intact. I would love to hear from anyone anywhere near me that realizes we are in for some very rough times ahead and has been prepping if for no other reason than just to have someone with a brain to talk with, because no one I've spoken with IRL has yet to realize anything unusual at all except for higher prices.Last edited by RKBA; 03-03-2012 at 01:45 PM.
