1. Photos (1 and 2) A Water BOB - purchased from Cheaper than Dirt for $19.95. It is $6.00 dollars off the E-Bay price. Price is only good for the month of May 2013.

A Water BOB is a FDA approved plastic water storage container that fits a normal size bath tub. It stores up to 100 gallons of fresh water with an attached fill tube, water proof cap and portable hand pump for drawing out the fresh water as you need it. This is a perfect device for temporary water storage prior to, during, and after a natural disaster. Here in Florida we can expect to be without power for up to 3 weeks when a hurricane hits the local area.

Has anybody here purchased/used the Life Staw? It is a small water filtration device that has great write-ups, and is supposed to be a super product.

I have not been able to find them in any retail stores, and they may only be available for purchase in line. After failing to find them locally I gave up and bought the Aqua Mira version.

The Life Straw sells for about $20.00. It is small and ideal for hiking. I have seen different reviews on capacity levels; one said it could filter 18000 liters of water; another said 1000 gallons. You stick the straw into the water and drink. Doesn't get much easier than that.

The Aqua Mira version which I bought is supposed to be good for 30 gallons. O.K. for a hike, but no where near 1000 gallons. Prices were not that far apart.

Has anybody else used them?

Is your Bug Out vehicle equipped to pull a trailer?

I am curious, and have seriously thought about getting a pop-up.

I would like to hear some of the Pros and Cons from those who use them.

When cleaning out our bug out bags I noticed that our Chem-Lights or light sticks (chemiluminescent), had an expiration date of 1-2011 on them. I have 4 boxes , 10 in each box Each stick has a 10 to 12 hour burn. I would hate to get rid of them. What do you think????

Thanks
