In close to two months we have had less than an inch of rain total have had the water running for the last month watering something every day I had hundred-year-old lilacs dying it took two days watering to soak from one side to the other of them.

I just have a small garden this year tomatoes and zucchini water them every morning before sunrise.

I lost some chickens just because I am not used to having them pinned up I have an automatic water pan in the chicken house but didn't have one in the pen. One day while I was gone a strong wind came up and blew the door closed I had the door blocked by big rock wasn't enough I now use a latch as well as a rock and I have a pan of water in the pen going to get another automatic water pan for the pen

Just got a new incubator it has a digital thermostat and can run off a 12 V battery plus has a egg turner should cut down on my time as well as being more accurate and in case of power outage I can continue to incubate the eggs.

Later folks
